Update: Gwyneth "American's Are Dumb" Paltrow Proud To Be An American

Will the real Gwyneth Paltrow please stand up. Three days after remarking that American's are shallow and dumb compared to the British, Paltrow says what she really meant to say is "that Europe is a much older culture" compared to the Westerners. Ohhh, o.k., good observation. Princess Gwyneth spoke to People magazine, so as to clarify her true thoughts:

"I felt so upset to be completely misconstrued and I never, ever would have said that. I definitely did not say that I think the British are more intelligent and civilized than Americans. I am a New York girl, that's how I always think of myself and see myself."

Paltrow is married to really serious rock singer Chris Martin of Coldplay, and thinks Madonna is an older sister.

F.Y.I.: I wouldn't take Gwyneth Paltrow very seriously. She once said she hates England because of the weather and that English guys are not her thing. She's now married to a Brit and living in London.
