Van Halen Replaced By Velvet Revolver

Van Halen is so messed up the legendary rock band has been replaced for their own induction ceremory. Velvet Revolver -- specifically Slash and Scott Weiland -- will perform at the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, and salute the musical controbutions Van Halen has made over the years. The reason for the ousting seems to be the fact that David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen and Sammy Hager can't stop fighting long enough to actually get on stage for even one song. On going on stage with Sammy, Diamond Dave said this yesterday:

"I would not do that. That's a whole other kind of music, that's a whole other approach to songwriting... Let him go and do his own thing."

Lessee, Ed's acting like an asshole so that means Alex is, too. Hagar's got his solo career so he's all set. Roth is still working on being a pop culture punchline and Anthony's not in the group.

At what point will these guys need the money bad enough to get their shit together and tour?

In 30+ years of attending concerts, Sammy Hagar (solo) was the only performer that sucked so bad that I actually walked out of the show. Not that I'm a fan or DLR either...
