Joel Madden's Romantic Proposal

Joel Madden to Nicole Richie: "Let’s get married before you go to jail." Star Magazine is reporting the couple are planning a pre-lock up wedding in early September. No word on whether Madden actually got down on one knee when he spoke the come on honey, do it before you're in the cell line that every man dreams of saying to his fiance. But it seems the idea lit a spark in Nicole's eyes:

“Nicole wants to get married first, and then serve her time. But she’s way too stressed about jail to plan the wedding, so she’s hiring a wedding planner to coordinate the details.”

And not only has Nicole gone the extra mile and hired a wedding coordinator, but she even quit drugs and started to eat! For the sake of the baby of course:

"I eat all the time, especially now. I'm constantly hungry. I'm eating at least every hour. Just like any mother, you know, you want to take the best care of yourself, especially while you're pregnant. And I'm definitely eating healthier now, and I'm really playing by the rules."
