Miss South Carolina Teen USA Lauren Caitlin Upton (whew) is explaining her help the mapless video! You know, THIS ONE.

Miss South Carolina says she can laugh at the whole thing in hindsight. She totally didn't mean, and such, that US Americans and The Iraq, and such, need maps. Lauren explains:

“Everything did come at me at once. And I made a mistake — everybody makes a mistake — I’m human.

“Personally, my friends and I, we know exactly where the United States is on a map.”

Well that's good.

Miss Upton told her local paper she "I didn't do anything wrong. I wasn't expecting [the question]. I lost my train of thought."

This girl is a dunce! I'm sorry, people! Our schools will never get better until we hit 'em in the face with it! If humiliating one teen publicly will send a wake-up call, then it's all for the better. I hope all you stupid teenagers who think you know everything read this. School's in! Hit the books!
