Adrianne Curry has done Playboy again. It's cool, but the real deal sealer is the 20 Q&A with Helena Bonham Carter AND stirring new fiction by John Updike. Stoked!
A friend mentioned to me that John Updike http://www.ebook-search-queen.com/ebook/John/John%20Updike.all.html wrote an embarrassingly orientalist review of this book in The New Yorker. Any idea where we might get our hands on it? Perhaps we can post it here -- as proof positive of Said's thesis, and perhaps as exhibit A of different assumptions, often circumscribed by culture and power, about what a novel should look like?
Good to see her in Playboy again, and looking as hot as ever.
