The brand spanking new Motley Crue song, Saints of Los Angeles, is out.
It's better then that crappy New Tattoo released in 2000.
Does the guitar riff sound exactly like five other Motley Crue songs?? So Mick Mars is still alive.

They sound good - they sound pretty much just like they used to!
Any guitar geeks out there? I'd say the guitar part has evolved slightly since the old Crue days. He's using a flatted 2nd for the turnaround (in other words, he goes up just a half step and then back down to the beginning of the riff). The flat 2nd (or sharp dominant) wasn't used much in the 80s, but you hear it a lot today in bands like KoRn, Seether, SOAD, etc. I believe Faith No More was one of the first bands to use it regularly, and KoRn made it a standard component of the rock arsenal.
shit bro you know alot about guitars
haha ... well I've been listening to them for a very, very, long time...
