Yeah, The VMAs Suck Little Balls

Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington is saying what pretty much everyone else already knows: The MTV Music Video Awards are crap. Chester, who won an award for Best Rock Video, describes the award show like this:

"The 'VMAs' are consistently clusterfucks, and this year set a new standard."

Yep. Then he went on a little more about the format of the show:

"Where were Foo Fighters and Nickelback? Or even a band like Three Days Grace, who had a pretty big year? There was no Vampire Weekend or Daughtry. It was very one-sided."

"I think the 'VMAs' have completely lost touch with a broad scope of music. It was very bubble gum and Disney, which is why bands like Foo Fighters, and everybody else in my group weren't there."

Ok well I'm glad Three Days Grace isn't getting any more publicity. But I get what he's saying. I reduced my cable two months ago to about 15 crappy channels after Comcast raised my bill, so I don't care that much. But it's the point!
