The Almost | MySpace Music Videos

East Coast alternative rock band The Almost have released the brand new music video for Hands. A couple months ago we happened to speak with Dusty, Jay and Alex about the video, which was shot on the same ever-lasting day as the video for Lonely Wheel. The guys told a little about the concept: "We want it to be basically an answer to the Lonely Wheel video, because the Lonely Wheel video brings up a lot of issues in a person's life."

You can check out that interview right here:

Some Old School Punk Bands Added To Warped Tour

Some old school punk bands have been added to the Warped Tour for this summer. SoCal legends The Adolescents, the Bay Area's Swingin' Utters, and The Germs, Anti-Flag, and Tom Morello's Street Sweeper Social Club are just a few of the folks who will be spending the summer playing in parking lots.

The rest of the new additions can be found here.

Duane Peters homemade music video for solo album out now

Duane Peters homemade music video for solo album out now

Translating old school skate and punk skatepunk Duane Peters is a blast. Say for instance when Duane writes "song-WASTELAnd-Tittle Trak Forupcomig DP Solo record". I think that means 'check out Wasteland, the title track off my upcoming solo album.'

When DP writes "Fuck it did circles forever found unreal location. Gonna go get camera wanna shoot bid for new wasteland song for my solo gottacalassistent" I think it means 'I'm shooting and editing this video myself, found a sick location, where the fuck is my camera and assistant.'

When Duane writes "Time 2 skate and make an appointment for a labotomy! No fucking wonder I got so fucking loaded! Who wants to know any of this shit !", I think it means 'Peters is still hard fucking core.'

Here's the Wasteland video.

MGMT wrote a song called 'Siberian Breaks' about surfing in the Arctic Circle by Russia. Andrew said it first.

MGMT wrote a song called 'Siberian Breaks' about surfing in the Arctic Circle by Russia. Andrew said it first.

"I try to do it whenever I can. I'm going to Costa Rica to surf this Sunday. I love it and it's definitely a theme on 'Congratulations'. There's one song called 'Siberian Breaks', and it's about 12 minutes long. It's kind of like eight different songs strung together into one, and the general theme is about surfing in the Arctic Circle by Russia."
