The Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival wrapped up it's third outing this last weekend in San Francisco. The meadows of Golden Gate Park were lit up as far as the eye could see, as The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Phoenix, Empire of The Sun, Chromeo, Social Distortion, Slightly Stoopid, Al Green, and many more put on spectacular performances. Many smiles were to be had. And here's a little proof in some pictures we snapped over the two days.

The band has a new album coming out in the fall, their first in a few years. We talked to them about that, and what it was like back on the Warped Tour the very first summer, back in '96.
The latest track in our "waaaaait, what was that song I just heard on the radio" series is called Fixed, by Stars. Fans of Broken Social Scene will recognize this band, as Stars is made up entirely of members of BSS.
In June the band released an album titled 'The Five Ghosts'. Fixed comes off that album.
