I'm a bit late on this one but it doesn't really matter as the bands already past have sort of sucked. But if you're in NorCal it's worth paying attention.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has announced their 2009 summer line-up of Friday night concerts on the beach. There's the usual one hit wonders and keyboardists of a band who are now touring under the reputation of their former self. And there is also all kinds of greatness like Eddie Money, The Tubes, and The Sweet.

Full line-up here. Spending a Friday night in the sand with the Giant Dipper behind you and a killer performance right in front of you is pretty much amazing.
