And now a couple new Angels & Airwaves demos

Angels & Airwaves guitarist Dave Kennedy recently confirmed the band is hoping to release their next album in February 2010, and it will be available as a free download. (Good time to yell eff yeah out loud.)

In anticipation of that release a video has been posted to Tom DeLonge's YouTube account with some audio samples from the "bit more pissed off" record. Likely, the AVA album has been pushed back a few months due to Tom's commitment with Blink-182. He will be on tour with Blink until October. Tom, Mark and Travis have recorded at least one new song together for play on tour. Anyways, The AVA demos can be heard above. Check it out.

In case you are wondering if Angels & Airwaves is dying a slow death due to Blink-182 getting back together, they're not. In fact they are recording a new album right now and it might just be their bet one yet. At least that's what they've updated on their Facebook:

Angels and Airwaves is pleased to announce that the record is coming along stronger and more amazing than planned......the movie and album will launch together towards the end of/ beginning of the year.....and may we say....it is going to blow away our previous work....prepare....clue: "compass / ruler"
