Check out the new video from Frank Turner for his ballad Isabel. The song comes off the Manchester singer's latest album Poetry of The Deed. In classic Frank style, the song takes a look back at youth, with one eye on the future. And a bit of love thrown in for good measure.
One of most interesting breakout artists of 2009 is Frank Turner. His lyrics are smart and his music is good. It's a good sign when you are pushed into thought, and want to raise a pint at the same time, don't ya reckon? The British folk singer just released a new video for his song 'Poetry Of The Deed,' off the album by the same name. Enjoy.
Yeah, they’ll probably get married to a Black Flag song or something like that. I feel like you can take the boy out of punk rock, but you can’t take punk rock out of the boy.
- Frank Turneron how punk rock will always be a part of your life if you're into that scene.
British folk punk singer Frank Turner set his new album, Poetry Of The Deed, loose on the U.S. today (9/8). If you're going to buy it (you should, it's good) I would recommend heading over to the Epitaph Records store and picking up a two-cd and t-shirt set for $20. The other CD is a previous release Frank published in the U.K.
Just to let you know kids, if you are blasting the Deed and own a punk rock shirt, girls will attack you.
(PS: Poetry Of The Dead is nearly cracking the Top 10 in England. A punk record in the Top 10? Think America could do that?)
